Dr. Judy Quach grew up in Gilbert, Arizona, and earned her undergraduate degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona.
Although she initially explored interests in art, veterinary medicine, and research in animal behavior, she was ultimately drawn to optometry by her interest in healthcare, her love of helping people, and the opportunity to make a difference in patients’ daily lives.
She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2018. Her clinical training included vision therapy in San Diego, as well as rotations at a VA hospital in Long Beach and an Indian Health Service site in New Mexico. Dr. Judy enjoys creating a comfortable, easygoing experience for her patients while helping them feel informed and well cared for during their visits. She has a special interest in myopia control and binocular vision dysfunction.
During optometry school, she met her husband, Jason (thanks to Pokémon Go!), and they quickly bonded over their shared love of music, gaming, and travel. Outside the clinic, Dr. Judy enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason and their son, Wren. She’s an avid gamer who often spends her weekends playing online with friends, but she also enjoys getting outdoors to hike or tend to her garden. In her free time, she likes drawing/sculpting, taking on DIY projects, attending concerts, and going to video game conventions whenever she can.
