Steven J. Davis, OD
As an only child, he grew up living near the Snake River at Adrian Oregon. Hunting, fishing, and playing baseball were his favorite things to do. He graduated from Adrian High School and then attended and graduated from The College of Idaho in Caldwell Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in zoology in 1974. He met Eileen at college and married her in late 1978 during his first year of optometry school at Pacific University near Portland Oregon. After four years of optometry school, he graduated and moved to Walla Walla to start an optometry practice.
Eileen and Steve have three kids, Nicole, Cami and Tim. The youngest, Tim, is attending Western Washington University which makes Mom and Dad empty nesters. They enjoy spending time on their boat, hiking, and seeing their kids whenever they can. Steve enjoys playing racquetball and an occasional round of golf.

Harry Wiessner, OD
A native of Walla Walla, though his parents immigrated from Germany in 1954. His family only spoke German in the home and he first learned English when starting kindergarten. He attended Walla Walla schools and then Whitman College for two years. With his goal set on becoming an eye doctor he transferred to Pacific University receiving a bachelor’s degree and in 1983 a Doctor of Optometry degree. Harry has an extensive music background as a pianist and church organist. His wife, Becky is a violinist with the Walla Walla Symphony. They have two sons in college. Family activities often center around playing bluegrass together, or locally with friends.

Receptionist/Bookkeeper
Sara joined us several years ago and quickly became a valuable person on our team. She is officially “Patient Care Coordinator”, but wears many hats from scheduling, billing, accounts payable, to accounts receivable. She is efficient and friendly and will welcome you with a smile.

Marilyn
Optometric Assistant and Frame Stylist
Marilyn has worked at our office since 1998 and has become a great asset to our practice. She works as an optometric assistant doing preliminary testing for the doctors, frame selections and orders eyewear. Marilyn has a way of keeping us all laughing and has a heart to help people.

Kathy
Optometric Assistant and Frame Stylist
Kathy checks patient’s insurance benefits, orders our contact lenses and works as an optometric assistant, trains contact lens patients, and does pre-testing, frame selections and frame adjustments. Kathy has a relaxed way about her and enjoys working with people.

Donna
Receptionist and Frame Stylist
Donna joined us in June of 2006 so she is officially the “newbie” in our office. She is a delight to work with and eager to learn everything. Our intention is that she will be a float person, helping to fill in wherever she is needed. Donna’s infectious smile helps us all enjoy our work more.
